The Waiting Game

Now I'm waiting to hear from my brother about how Mom's surgery went. It started about an hour and a half ago, so any minute, hopefully, my phone will ring and I'll know how it came out.

Thanks so much to all of you - for the possie vibes and thoughts and prayers. I totally appreciate it. I'm a little anxious this morning, to say the least.

Got an e-mail from Joey yesterday and sent him my phone # and then told Will that if some strange guy called for me, it was all okay and it was about a website *LOLOL* Anyway, he said he was in Vegas and I told him I was jealous.

I'll be there myself, though, in six months. And counting.

I had very bizarre dreams last night. Something about Clear Static and The Killers and Brandon Flowers being a vampire (probably has something to do with the C I have based on him... heh). And Brandon was zipped up into a body bag that was full of flesh and blood. I must be watching too much violent television or something.

It was... weird.

The update

My brother just called and told me that the surgery went well and everything is as it's supposed to be. My mom is currently in recovery and will be doped up on morphine for awhile.
