I can't get away from him...
Mar. 2nd, 2005 07:51 amGavin's on VH1... again... AUGH! *L* (Yeah, like I mind... heh).
Anyway, it's early, and I have to admit I was a little disappointed that all of one person commented on my joy entry. I know, stuff like that isn't very commentable, unless there's some tragic or funny story to add.
But I know... it really happened. And it's changed me, I think. I'm not even entirely sure how, I guess I'll discover that along the road.
So I checked out Gavin's Street Team site this morning and BOOM, I'm one of the Top 5 people with points (because I have been harassing radio stations to play the new song... heh), and I'm like "OMG, I don't want to win that contest where he calls you because I honestly have nothing cool to say to him." Isn't that weird? *L* I think I might be like "Would you call my friend Mary,
dokunokasumi, instead?" hehe I just want to help push the song, cuz the guy deserves any success he gets.
And I STILL need to work on Joey's site. I think I have some downtime at work today (hopefully) and I might start on the spec for it.
I should probably go get dressed and get on the road. I just LOVE my 40 minute commute. Well, it's actually not too bad if I have good music. Gives me a chance to clear my head before and after work.
Btw, it's Week Two of Month One of the Self Challenge and I'm still going strong. I had an awesome run on the treadmill last night (I started out walking, but I was listening to The Killers and there was like a subliminal message in that music that said "RUN RUN!" *L*). I have strength training tonight (which I enjoy more than the cardio anyway). I'm watching my food intake (although I've pretty much had to do that since getting off of WW) and keeping the fat and sugary stuff low (my weaknesses). And I feel great, plus it's nice to get back into the routine of working out. Theatre tends to jump me out of that because my schedule gets uber-hectic.
Speaking of which, I got a call from the Stage III director last week and we may be doing the murder mystery show again in April.
